Trypiti Route

Overview

We will start our journey when we move towards Mount Juktas which is the final resting place. Moreover, then we take a road through extensive vineyards in which, Minoans built a wine press that is considered the oldest press in the world. Our next stop is Charakas. It is a little mountain village. At this place, we will join the locals for a coffee. Then we will continue our journey through dirt tracks, and bumpy roads toward our next stop which is Tripitis Gorge. At this place, you can enjoy the best view over the Gorge that contains various layers of rocks, the Libyan sea, and Cretan wild herbs. After viewing this place, we will visit other narrow places where you will visit the Church of Panagia within walking distance. 

When you will build your appetite, then we will move towards Tripitis beach. At this place, we will have a BBQ lunch with a lot of water and wine. Moreover, you can spend quality time at this place with a refreshing swim in the Libyan sea and enjoy crystal clear blue water. After enjoying all places on this route, then we will head towards the South coast and pass through some traditional villages and enjoy a refreshment with local drinks like Raki.
