The Butterfly Gorge is located in the Southeast of Crete, it has high biodiversity and has water even in the summer months
During the hike you will see spectacular formations of the rocks and cliffs that surround the gorge, many pine trees, endemic plants and flowers and maybe the endemic butterflies
Vultures and other birds often fly above the gorge.
The hike is 7 km long
At the end point you will see the amazing waterfalls
You could take a swim in the cold waters of the waterfall
