The Samaria Gorge is one of Greece's most breathtaking natural features and is the longest gorge in all of Europe.

Follow the trail through this well-known gorge and marvel at the natural scenery along the way, which includes the White Mountains, woods that are thousands of years old, and a river that runs through the middle of it.

People can go swimming, unwind on the beach, or find a tavern to have lunch while having a clear view of the Mediterranean Sea in the village of AgiaRoumeli, which can be found at the end of the journey.

Full Description
  • Morning Pick-up
  • In the morning, we will initiate the process of collecting participants from the designated pick-up spots.
  • The route that the bus takes may be different for you because it depends on where your hotel or apartment is located.
  • Bus Drive to Omalos: 3 hours
  • *On the journey, there will be a brief break for using the restroom and grabbing food. – 20 minutes
  • 1st stop: The plateau of Omalos
  • Our final stop before beginning the hike, where we will double-check that we have everything we need or pick up any essentials that we may have forgotten.
  • 2nd Stop: Samaria gorge – 4.5 – 5 hours
  • The spectacular gorge, which is the longest in Europe, will give you numerous beautiful views of the neighboring White mountains. Participants on this wonderful excursion through the Cretan landscape will be stunned by many things, including the small river that runs through the canyon and the Cretan wild goats known as kri-kri. It is 18 miles long and requires roughly 4.5 hours to walk, and you will always be escorted by an experienced tour guide.
  • Walking for 4-5 hours
  • 3rd stop: Agia Roumeli
  • The settlement of AgiaRoumeli may be found at the end of the gorge, right next to the Libyan Sea.
  • A stunning and secluded settlement that can be found nestled between the massive cliffs of the Samaria gorge and the Libyan Sea. There will be ample time for customers to have a swim at the beach that is both restful and invigorating, and then have lunch at one of the tiny taverns that are located in the area.
  • After some time has passed, we will board the boat that will bring us to Chora Sfakion so that we can make our way back to our resorts.
  • Boat trip: 1 hour
  • 5th stop: ChoraSfakion
  • Arrival to the village, boarding of the buses, and departure for the resorts at the end of the tour
  • End of the tour – Arrival at resorts:
  • Participants will now board the buses and be driven back to the hotels where they were staying when we gathered them in the morning.
  • The amount of time it takes to get back to the hotel will vary from person to person based on the amount of traffic and where they were picked up.
  • Return Bus Drive to Heraklion: 3 hours
  • *On the way back, there will be a brief stop for using the restroom and grabbing a snack. – 20 minutes
