Full Description
- Morning Pick-up: In the morning, we will initiate the process of collecting participants from the designated pick-up spots.
- The route that the bus takes may be different for you because it depends on where your hotel or apartment is located.
- Bus Drive: 1 hour
- 1st stop: The Palace of Knossos – 1 hour 20 minutes
- Explore the legendary labyrinth at Knossos, the ancient capital of the Minoan civilization on Crete, which dates back 5000 years. Guests will participate in a guided tour for about one hour and twenty minutes, followed by free time to take photos and explore the historically significant Minoan site.
- Queue time to acquire tickets and enter the Palace varies.
- Bus Drive to City Center: 30 minutes
- 2nd stop: City Center of Heraklion – 3 hours
- Walking Tour & Free Time
- Visit Heraklion, the capital of the region, and take a guided tour of the city center and historical areas. After the tour, you will have two hours and thirty minutes to explore the city center, historical area, or Archaeological Museum on your own. Guests have ample time to stroll, shop for souvenirs, or simply take photographs.
- Optional: Archaeological Museum of Heraklion
- Guests interested in visiting the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion can do so independently, as COVID regulations make it challenging to offer guided tours of the museum.
- End of the tour – Return to resorts:
- Participants will board the buses and return to their hotels where they were picked up in the morning.
- The duration of the return journey varies depending on traffic and pickup locations.
